Amazing Fields version 3.0.0 has been released into the wild. 🎉
This is a major update including a wide range of fixes and refinements as well as some of the most commonly requested improvements. Thank you to the thousands of users that use Amazing Fields every day. We continue to collect feedback daily and will be rolling out even more updates soon.
Now on to the changes…
🎆 Custom Editors 🎆
The editors on the back of the card are now customized and styled.
No more basic ugly editors. Now even the editors are Amazing. This lets you immediately see any conditional formatting and makes it much easier to visually distinguish all the fields. When you change a value on a progress bar you can see it immediately. If you click on a checkbox you see the custom styled icons. Everything should just work the way you expect and look just right.
We think this feature makes fields much more powerful because they now have the same pop on the back as they do in the front.
Please let us know if you have any ideas for additional custom editors that would help your workflow. We are always looking to improve.
🔗 Live URLs 🔗
A user asked if we could make weblinks live when you open the card. We said of course, why didn’t we think of that. So now when you set the value of a text field to a web link, it will be a live link when you open the card.
This lets people create cards that link to all types of data and information. Create as many fields as you want that link to external documents or pages. Whatever you need to collect and share with your team.
